About this deal
As I don’t belong under that category, I like to switch things up and give it a nice banana flavor. We say: Smoky whisky-laced, rich, delicately herbal banana. Not as challenging as this drink sounds and considerably tastier.
With: Speyside single malt whisky, lemon juice, crème de banane liqueur, Islay single malt peated scotch whisky, Yellow Chartreuse liqueur, cinnamon syrup and pimento dram liqueur. Take the butterscotch schnapps and measure up .5 oz with the jigger. Dump the butterscotch schnapps into the shaker.
Recipe
Combine flavored syrups and non-alcoholic rum substitutes such as Lyre’s Spiced Cane Spirit, Lyre’s White Cane Spirit, or Strykk Not Vanilla Vodka. Put the shaker top on and shake it up. The shaker will get cold on the outside after about 15 or so seconds. Another recipe opts for 1 ounce each of banana rum (e.g., Bacardi, Blue Chair, Cruzan), melon liqueur, orange and pineapple juices, and sour mix.
