Sizing is the first thing to point out. A hamster wheel doesn’t come in a “one-size-fits-all.” What may comfortably fit a dwarf hamster is far too small for a Syrian hamster. The entrance opening located on the outer rim of the wheel component is very small. When coaxing a hamster into this opening while it is located at the top of the car, the hamster will fall to the bottom.
