In 2017, fuelled by a passion for sailing, love for rum and the expectation that the popularity of Rum was soon to increase the same way as Gin previously, Philip and the family chose to begin their Rum journey.

Since our beginning in2017, Hattiers Rumhas existed as benchmark of where webelieve rum should be. Our purpose has always been bigger than making and selling fine blended rums.
The trio at The Glassmates have a very special place in the heart of all at Hattiers. Our founder Philip met the chaps during the spring/summer of 2020, during their weekly broadcasts. Their breadth of knowledge and approachable pallets across multiplespirits isrefreshing. Becoming a B Corp is far from straightforward and Philip and the team had to undertake a rigorous and detailed B Impact Assessment (BIA), a comprehensive questionnaire that determines the company’s impact on their community, employees, the environment and beyond.Here’s to B Corp Month, to committing to using business as a force for good and a huge thank you to all those involved - we can't wait for the next one!
