Note: This tool applies to Microsoft Windows PC's only. This tool will detect HP PCs and HP printers. At first it was not working. Screen was recognized both in Windows and in the AMD software as second monitor, but still no signal.

This issue is however fixed, and I uninstalled the graphic drivers and installed the newest version.IMPORTANT: Make sure your Ubuntu distibution is up to date by running sudo apt-get update and then sudo apt-get dist-upgrade from a Terminal. If the distribution is not up to date, you may find issues with blank or corrupted USB displays. Ensure the computer power settings are set to "High Performance" including the GPU settings to Maximum The detected OS is the operating system that we have detected you are using. We will offer drivers and other solutions in this OS first. If you wish to see solutions related to another OS, please select the preferred operating system and version and choose 'Change'

Now it doesn't work anymore. I assume it stopped working after a Windows software update as i could not open the AMD Radeon software due to a mismatch between the real driver version and the version the AMD software thought was installed.All kinds of settings, GPU rendering ON/OFF, AMD Freesync ON/OFF, extent screen, duplicate screen, various resolutions and update frequencies. If your operating system is not listed then HP may not provide driver support for your product with that operating system. Running pnputil to find the inf file for the driver in the Windows driver store. Eg: pnputil -a C:\Program Files\DisplayLink Core

Extend mode: This is the default setting for a DisplayLink display. The display is an extension of the Windows desktop, and will be extended to the right of the main display. Moving the mouse off the right hand side of the display will move it onto the extended screen. The relative positions of the extended displays can be configured and is described below.
