About this deal
Before mango butter is whipped, it has a similar consistency to regular butter. I prefer to whip it to give it that light and fluffy texture. BENEFITS OF MANGO BUTTER
After freezer I whipped for 2 minutes and had perfect whip and consistency I wanted. (Really most people would find step 2 good. But I wanted extra whip. Lol)Mixing it with a carrier oil and essential oils will make the mango butter light and fluffy. It will also add more benefits to the skin. HOMEMADE WHIPPED MANGO BODY BUTTER I love adding lavender essential oil for anything skincare because of the incredible benefits it has for the skin. Lavender can reduce signs of aging, improve skin imperfections, and keep the skin clean and purified.
Citrus oils are fun to add to mango butter to give it that fun fruity scent. It is important to note that citrus essential oils are photosensitive and shouldn’t be used topically in direct sunlight. Melt mango butter and coconut oil in a double boiler. I make my own double boiler by placing a bowl over a pot of boiling water. If you want to make whipped mango butter, cut the mango butter into small pieces and place it in a bowl. Add in some type of carrier oil and whip with a handheld mixer.
ESSENTIAL OIL BLENDS FOR WHIPPED BODY BUTTER

You have the option of adding essential oils to your whipped mango body butter and I highly recommend it! Essential oils have great benefits for the skin and will make it smell amazing. NOTES: If stored properly, whipped body butter will be good for up to one year. It is best to store in a glass container with an airtight container.
I love making my own natural skincare and this whipped mango butter is one of my favorites. It is made with all-natural ingredients that will keep your skin silky smooth. Often times the complaint about homemade body butters is that they are too greasy and oily on the skin. Adding arrowroot powder to the mixture will help with this. After the mixture is melted together, place the bowl in the freezer until it is set up a bit. You don't want it to be solid just firm.
