I have just started writing novel two which is very exciting. I’m not able to give too much away at this stage but I can tell you it involves a big family get-together and some skeletons in closets. Beth is such a great character and we see her change and grow as she adapts to suddenly being thrust into parenthood – in what ways do you think motherhood has changed you as a person? It’s a story about grief, family, friendship, working things out and love. It’s incredibly emotional but at the same time a breeze to read.

Al jaren roep ik dat schrijfster Dani Atkins (naast Colleen Hoover) mijn favoriete auteur is en dat niemand qua niveau ook maar in haar beurt kan komen, maar toen ik dat zei had ik duidelijk 'Vallen en opstaan' van Sarah Turner nog niet gelezen. Wat een pareltje is dit!

Beth started off as a character difficult to sympathise with but as the story progressed Turner was able to make the reader really warm to her.
