Bath additive – Melt Hydromol Ointment in warm water in a suitable container, add mixture to the bath.

Hydromol Ointment does not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, making it ideal for those who are allergic to this ingredient and struggle to find an eczema relief that doesn’t include it. Ideal for those looking for a soft, easy to apply ointment, that is free from added fragrances, colours, or preservatives.Water is also usually kept in the skin by a film of natural oil (sebum) and broken-down skin cells that slow down evaporation of water from the skin surface.

If you're using it as a bath additive, melt some of the ointment in some warm water in a small container and add this to the bath water. When you apply the ointment to the skin, or use it instead of soap, these oils stay on the surface of the skin to prevent water evaporating from the skin surface.
