The ingredients in Sudocrem may individually be effective for treating conditions like rosacea, acne, or even wrinkles.

Its triple action formula guards against infection and forms a protective barrier, keeping your baby’s skin smooth and moisturised. It was manufactured by pharmaceutical company Forest Laboratories Europe up until July 2014 when the company was acquired by, and combined with, Actavis plc. Only apply a small amount in a thin layer and massage in small circular movements until the Sudocrem has disappeared leaving a translucent film.

Sudocrem is a medicated diaper rash cream, popular in countries like the United Kingdom and Ireland but not sold in the United States. It has been specially developed to soothe and heal cases of nappy rash associated with sore, broken and inflamed skin.

During the 1960s, samples of Sudocrem that were given to new mothers in Ireland increased the popularity of the product and the brand was gradually introduced to the UK in the 1970s.

While its main use is for the treatment of diaper rash, it’s also useful as a protective layer for hands.
